1. 1. Wednesday, September 21 – Kingdom Kids Begins
We look forward to another exciting year of Kingdom Kids, learning more about Jesus for ages 3 years old – Third Grade. We begin at 6:50pm for early arrival activities, singing starts at 7:00pm and we conclude at 8:10pm.
2. Friday, September 23 – All Church Wiener Roast – 6:30pm at the FH Pavilion
Meat, drink, and table service will be provided. Please bring one or two covered dishes and/or a dessert to share, as well as a flashlight for the singing. See Bro. Adam or Sis. Lindsay Funk if you have any questions.
3. Sunday, October 2 – Pizza Meal and Family Hymn Sing at 5:30pm – All are welcome
Please sign up at the kitchen sign-up table if you plan to attend the pizza meal. The singing will follow at 6:30pm. The Bible Class will be the special group for the evening. Please join us for an evening of worship and fellowship!
4. Monday, October 3 - Red Cross Blood Drive - 1:00-6:00pm at the Fellowship Hall • Mark your calendars and roll up your sleeves!
Sign-up for your appointment at the information center. You can also call 1-800-REDCROSS or Sis. Elaine Sollberger (309)266-9843 to schedule.
If you would like to volunteer to work or donate food, there are forms at the kitchen sign-up table. Contact Sis. Jane Kieser or Sis. Elaine Sollberger with questions. Thank you in advance for giving the gift of life!
5. 2023 Picture Directory Updates
If you are new to Morton church and would like to be included in our picture directory, please email your contact information to Sis Danelle Zeller at info@mortonacchurch.org. We will have one more photo session November 6, 11:30am-12pm and 1pm to 2pm (in SS 3yr olds-3rd grade area) for all who are new to Morton Church, have had any babies, or missed getting your picture taken. If you are currently listed with an email address in the directory, you will be receiving an email in early October. You can simply reply to that email with changes. Those who have graduated from high school or are in the Young Group should have their own entry. Remember you can include your married children and their spouses under your listing and you can list as many phone numbers or emails as needed. Church officers and committees are in the back of the directory. If you are retiring from a position or starting a new one, please update us with that information as well. The firm deadline for submitting all changes for the printed picture directory is November 6.
