Ted Witzig, Sr.
Retired Elder
Ted was placed into the pulpit ministry of our church in 1983. In 2001, he was ordained as our church’s Elder (i.e., head pastor) and retired as Elder in 2020. Ted was a health and geography teacher at the Morton Junior High School for 33 years, retiring in 2004. He and his wife, Cindy, have 3 children and 14 grandchildren.
Jon Zeller
Retired Minister
Jon was placed into the pulpit ministry of our church in 1989. After a career in electrical contracting, Jon is retired. He and his wife, Christie, have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
Joe Braker
Retired Elder
Joe was placed into the pulpit ministry of our church in 1972. He was ordained as Elder in 1974 and served in that capacity for 26 years. He retired from the eldership and pulpit ministry in 2001. Joe owned and operated J.J. Braker and Sons, a mason contractor until his retirement. Joe and his wife, Shirley (deceased), have 5 children and 18 grandchildren.
Ralph Garber
Retired Minister
Ralph was placed into the pulpit ministry of our church in 1977. Ralph owned and operated Garber Heating and Air Conditioning for 32 years until his retirement in 2005. He and his wife, Lynn, have 3 children and 8 grandchildren.
Bob Pflederer
Retired Minister
Bob was placed into the pulpit ministry of our church in 1977. In 1980, he was ordained as our church’s Deacon. Bob practiced medicine as a nephrologist with Nephrology Associates for 35 years, retiring in 2004. He and his wife, Ellie, have 4 children and 17 grandchildren.
Ted Hirsten

Ted was placed into the pulpit ministry of our church in 1993. Prior to his retirement from the company, he was a Human Resource Representative for Caterpillar, Inc. He and his wife, Joyce, have 1 son.
