1. 1. Red Cross Blood Drive Thank You 
A great big "THANK YOU" to all who supported the October blood drive. Whether you donated blood, volunteered to work, or brought food, your efforts helped secure 31 life-saving units for the Red Cross! May God bless everyone who helped give the precious gift of life! 

2. Donations Needed for Hospital Lumiere’s Virtual Benefit Auction 
Item donations are needed for the Hospital Lumiere’s virtual benefit auction planned for Thursday, Nov. 3 through Saturday, Nov. 5. Auction items should be sent to Bluffton, IN by Oct. 24.  For more information or to donate an item or service, visit the HarvestCall website at http://www.harvestcall.org/benefit-auction or the auction website at 32auctions.com/HospitalLumiere2022 

3. Restmor Presentation at Tremont Fellowship Hall 
The Restmor Board of Directors will be hosting an informational presentation for the Morton and Tremont churches on Sunday, October 30th @ 6:30 at the Tremont Fellowship Hall.  The goal of this presentation is to provide an update on the current state of Restmor and the nursing home industry in general, as well consider ways we as a church can actively contribute to the mission as an outreach to our local community.
 
4. Fellowship Hall Scheduler Needed 
We have an opportunity for someone to serve our church as Fellowship Hall Scheduler. Sis. Gloria Leman has faithfully served in this capacity for many years and is ready to transition out of this position. We are looking for a responsible individual or couple to serve alongside the existing schedulers, Sis. Sabrina and Bro. Cole Zeller. This position requires someone who would have the availability to coordinate the schedule as well as distribute and collect keys for those using the Fellowship Hall and Shelter. Please contact Sis. Gloria, Sis. Sabrina, Bro. Cole or Bro. Jeff Strunk for more information.

5. 2023 Picture Directory Updates  
If you are new to Morton church and would like to be included in our picture directory, please email your contact information to Sis Dannelle Zeller at info@mortonacchurch.org. We will have one more photo session November 6, 11:30am-12pm and 1pm to 2pm (in SS 3yr olds-3rd grade area) for all who are new to Morton Church, have had any babies, or missed getting your picture taken.  If you are currently listed with an email address in the directory, you will be receiving an email in early October. You can simply reply to that email with changes.  Those who have graduated from high school or are in the Young Group should have their own entry. Remember you can include your married children and their spouses under your listing and you can list as many phone numbers or emails as needed. Church officers and committees are in the back of the directory. If you are retiring from a position or starting a new one, please update us with that information as well. The firm deadline for submitting all changes for the printed picture directory is November 6. 

6. Benefit Dinner Reservations 
The 17th Bible Class Benefit Dinner will be held Saturday, Nov. 12th and Sunday, Nov. 13th. Contact Sis. Donna Witzig: 309-635-0401 or Sis. Ashley Aberle: 309-369-9434 for reservations. If leaving a message for either of the contact people, please leave your name and phone number. Also make sure you get a response back that they have received your message. Doors open and appetizers served at 4:30 p.m. The meal will start at 5:00 p.m. with a singing program to follow. Please come and support our Bible Class students in a blessed evening praising our God.
