1. 2024 Phone and Address Directories
The 2024 Picture and phone directories are now available at the information center. Please take no more than two directories per household for now to ensure all families get a copy. The annual church calendar is on page 4 of the directory and is attached again to this weekly announcement email. Please add all dates to your personal calendars. A PDF version of the directory, updated quarterly, is downloadable from our church website www.mortonacchurch.org for quick access on a computer or mobile device.
2. Sunday, January 28 - Family Recognition Service
This shortened afternoon church service is intended to recognize the new babies that have been born into our church during 2023.
While this is an encouragement to the parents to raise these children in God-fearing homes, it is also an opportunity and reminder to the entire church family to be involved in each other’s lives as we go through the passages of life.
3. February 2 & 3 – ACCFS 2024 Cultivating Connections Marriage Conference, Rittman, OH
We look forward to a time of learning, encouragement, and fellowship as we consider the theme of Knowing God in Marriage. Registration is required for this in-person only event. More information as well as registration can be found at: www.accounseling.org/marriageconference2023 We encourage you to consider investing in your marriage as you join us for this year’s conference!
4. Sundays, February 18 and 25 – Morton Hosts ACYF evening programs 6pm
The Bible Class singing program starts at 6:00pm with churches to start arriving around 5:15pm. We are asking the church to please volunteer to help with welcoming our guests and directing them where they should go, serving snacks and cleaning up, getting rooms ready etc… Sign -Up Sheets will be at the kitchen sign up table with more instructions. Please come support our Bible Classes as they sing together. The following is a list of visiting churches for each Sunday:
February 18 – Washington, Tremont, Eureka-Congerville, Goodfield, Gridley, Fairbury, Bloomington Champaign
February 25 – Peoria-Taylor-St Louis, Forrest, Cissna Park, Elgin-Chicago-Belvidere, Roanoke, Princeville Bradford
